Hi,

So here's the full story: I've installed VoxBo (voxbo-1.8.5pre7-linux) on
a new machine (cluster instllation, but only one machine in use). I can
submit a glm to the scheduler but it doesn't run:

No servers currently available.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sequence Name Num Pri Owner Wait Run Bad Done Total
------------------------------------------------------------------------
test 3 2 kli-lab 33 0 0 0 33
------------------------------------------------------------------------

"voxq -b Herkules" (localhost) gives me:
host Herkules not currently reserved in your name

"voxq -l":

Server Load CPU Usage Resources
Herkules 0.08 0 of 1 cpu,bigtape,littletape(0) mailagent(0)

So the scheduler cannot access my machine. I've checked the defaults file,
serverlist, servers/ and the xinetd configuration and everything looks
right. However when I do "xinetd -d" i get

10/2/17 at 16:10:34: ERROR: 6781 {cnf_start_services} Service vbsrvd failed
to start and is deactivated.
10/2/17 at 16:10:34: CRITICAL: 6781 {init_services} no services. Exiting...

I get the same lines for telnet. I assume that xinetd is not running
properly and therefore my voxbo job is not running. Does anyone have an
idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks a lot!

Julia
