[VoxBo] timeseries and jlextract

Hi there,

I've run into 2 issues, one with getting timeseries in vbview or Display,
and one with running jlextract.

1) I'm trying to get the timeseries for a single subject time-locked to the
first stimulus of a trial. When I try to view this in either vbview or
Display, it gives me a timeseries with many timepoints -- the same number of
timepoints I have in the entire experiment. My understanding was that
getting a timeseries using a certain contrast (e.g. first stimulus is
weighted +1), it averages the beta values that follow each presentation of
that stimulus. If that's the case, then why does the timeseries have as
many timepoints as the entire experiment?

2) In trying to avoid this confusion, I just tried to run an older script
called jlextract.ksh. This was written a while ago and used by Amishi's lab
to essentially automatically open up a GLM in Display, apply a contrast and
a mask, and save the timeseries or stats of series. It was particularly
useful for applying several contrasts through several masks. It worked
several months ago the last time I tried, but now I get an error saying the
file does not exist.

The command I used is: jlextract.ksh -a test.arg -v

which was run from within this folder:
/jet/ling/MBSR.Nutrition.fmri.01/scripts/11_jlextract/test

and the error message I get is: -bash: /usr/local/bin/jlextract.ksh:
/bin/ksh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Is it possible that the jlextract.ksh script has been moved somehow in the
rebuilding/remodeling of the server? I would really appreciate any
information anyone might have on this, as we are trying to use either method
to extract timeseries and meet a deadline.

Thanks very much!
Ling
