[VoxBo] optimizing experimental designs

Hi all,

There used to be a program called optseq, which we used occasionally
to "optimize" stimulus sequences in event-related fMRI experiments.
Does anyone know:

(1) whether this program, or a similar one, still exists at Penn
(2) whether there is something better out there in the world
(3) whether sequence optimization is still considered worthwhile at all
