[VoxBo] voxbo on Mac from command line?

Hi,

I'm attempting to install single-user configuration of voxbo on Mac OS X
10.4.10.

Quick questions:

1. Is there anyway to run certain commands (e.g. 'glm') from the command
line instead invoking it through Finder?
2. Is the 1.8 release completely independent of IDL?
