[VoxBo] What's the QSettings error?

Dear VoxBoers,

I am just starting to learn voxBo under cygwin, I tried some basic commands 
of voxbo, but always has this error:
            QSettings: error creating /home/pwang/.qt
I want to know what does this mean? how to fix it/
