Changes 1.8.2
From VoxBoWiki
We are excited to announce the release of VoxBo 1.8.2, for Linux, OSX, and Cygwin (Windows). This release is available both as a patch and as a full release. Both versions include all the binaries, but the patch is missing some redundant stuff, and doesn't overwrite any of your configuration files when you unpack it.
- for installation instructions, see Install 1.8.

Here's what's new as of 1.8.2:
Exciting new features
- the plots you see in programs like vecview, gdw, and vbview support a bunch of new features:
- click on the graph to see the exact value at any point. hold down the shift key to prevent interpolation
- if multiple series are plotted, use the spacebar to select one
- the F1, F2, F3, and F4 keys can be used to select how the data are plotted
- you can now use the arrow keys to zoom and scroll
- vbsim, a little hack for creating test data, is now much more usable
- vbdumpstats has some new features and fixes:
- defaults to same mean norm and detrend settings as original GLM, and tells you what it's doing
- ignores voxels without data
- should be a lot faster for large masks
- you can now specify multiple masks, contrasts, and GLMs, and get all combinations reported
- vbconv now supports extracting multiple 3D volumes from a 4D file, using the -i flag. vbconv also now honors the -f and -n flags for floating point conversion and removing NaNs/Infs
- the scheduler will now prevent any sequence with more than 10 bad jobs from running.
- vbmaskmunge will now calculate difference images between 3D volumes
Bug fixes
- vbsingle: various bugs fixed, a few new features (see help)
- vbview: numerous fixes, including:
- numerous non-subtle bugs in time series display, including power spectrum display
- residual plot for regions formerly showed average residual, now shows residual from regression of average signal
- window size issues on OSX and Cygwin, and other cosmetic bugs fixed
- glminfo now supports the -l flag for extra detail on your glm
- a bug that could cause occasional NaNs in vbstatmap fixed
- NIfTI orientation coding (sform/qform) are now preserved properly, and setorigin can set non-integer origins for NIfTI files
- DICOM import is a bit more inclusive about what it will accept
- vbperminfo should be a tiny bit faster
- misc/xinetd.vbsrvd restored to the distribution
- bug in command line parsing in jobtype files fixed
- voxbo.log file moved back into etc/logs directory, you can delete etc/voxbo.log
- resample is now available for OSX, there are still issues with realign and norm
- a possible source of scheduler instability has been squashed
- many small bugs fixed
Not about the software per se, but new nonetheless
- all executables are now downloadable a la carte, with links on the wiki site
